Description: JLU LUBRICATORS
-Proportional oil delivery design provides automatic constant air/oil ratio over wide range of air flows.
-Simple knob type oil feed control.
-Locking ring provided prevent tampering.
Features:
- HIGH FLOW CAPACITY – Allows flows up to 80 SCFM
- ON-LINE MAINTENANCE – can be serviced without removal from airline.
- SENSITIVE – Controls output pressure to within ¼ inch water column pressure
- STABLE OUTPUT – Dampening action of aspirator tube makes this regulator insensitive to changes in flow
- BUILT-IN RELIEF - Ensures rapid response to circuit induced pressure changes.
- Custom made unit for control valves, Transmitters and other field mounted instruments.
- Most economically priced.
Applications: The type 800 is an ideal choice for any application that calls for accurately maintained output pressure under high flow conditions. This includes, but is not limited to such applications as:
-Test Equipment
-Laboratory Equipment
-Roll Loading
-Gas Mixing
-Web Tensioning
-Test Panels
-Valve Operators
-Clutch and Brake Controls
-Actuators
FLOW CHARACTERISTICS:
When the air flow from the Regulator is increased the secondary pressure falls below the set point. This ‘pressure drop’ in supply will force your equipment to function erratically. But JRU Air set reduces the pressure drop successfully by an aspirator. The aspirator connects the outlet port and the chamber under the diaphragm. When flow increases, the aspirator creates a lower pressure below the diaphragm, which in turn forces the main valve to open further and thus more air flows in, to compensate for the pressure drop.
Operations: PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
The lubricator gives oil into the air line only when there is a flow of air through
the lubricator. Air flowing through the lubricator passes around the flapper (9) to the outlet. When the air flows, a small pressure drop occurs across the flapper. Due to this, inlet pressure is admitted to the bowl through the throat of oil sucking bush (5). Due to difference in pressure in knob housing (3) and bowl (8), the oil flows upwards through the oil tybe (7) through the oil spooler (6). A range adjustment knob (1) controls the oil flow rate. The oil drips into the oil sucking bush and gets atomized.
Which is passed as a oil fog along with the flow of air.
SETTINGS:
Turn range adjustment knob
1.
Counter clockwise to increase the drip rate, clockwise to decrease the drip rate. Drip rate adjustment should only be made under steady flow conditions. Once established, the lubricator will automatically adjust the drip rate proportional to variations in air flow.
2.
Downwards to lock nut is tightened after final adjustment. To release the lock, loose – up the lock nut.
NOTE:
1.
Standard Air Filter Pressure Regulator and Lubricator can be supplied as a single unit. Series No. FPRTBL
SPECIAL FEATURE:
Large removable cap provides easy access for refilling the oil bowl without shutting off the supply by de – pressurizing the bowl through a relief valve.
